How much can I make?
There’s no limit! We pay 10% of the Gross Profit on every referred job. Earn money for the LIFETIME that a referred account works with Warehousing Etc, with Ongoing Earnings. More referrals = more money.
How is Gross Profit Calculated?
Gross Profit is calculated by subtracting Warehousing Etc’s costs from the client’s invoice total. The costs per job include any Labor, Materials, and Warehouse Storage costs required to complete the job.
How do I track my leads and payments?
When referring each lead you will provide the referrer name (when emailing or submitting form), and we’ll update you on lead statuses via monthly reports that are included with the monthly payouts.
Who should I refer?
Any business or trucker needing warehouse help for cross-docking, restacking, container unloading, or emergency storage.
What kind of products or goods can Warehousing Etc handle?
Warehousing Etc can handle most goods that are non-hazardous and do not require climate control. We can handle pallets that are 8’, or shorter, and 5k lbs. or less.
Contact the referral manager with specific questions or if you have freight outside these specs; we may be able to help.
What if I work at another warehouse?
If your warehouse does not provide short-term services, you can refer work to us. All leads are confidential.
What happens if I submit a lead you already have?
If you submit a lead that we already have, then we will let you know ASAP. No referral fee is paid for a lead that we already have or a client we already work with.
Is there ever a time when a referral fee would not be paid for a qualified lead?
Yes, there are a few situation where there would be no Referral Fee paid. This will happen if:
- The lead is not qualified (See above)
- The lead does NOT move forward with Warehousing Etc’s services
- The lead works with Warehousing Etc, but never pays Warehousing Etc for the work (because payouts are made to referrers based on when the client pays Warehousing Etc)
- The lead already works with Warehousing Etc
- The lead has contacted Warehousing Etc directly
- Warehousing Etc invoices the referrer for the work instead of the customer. We do not pay referral fees if the work is invoiced to the referrer.
Do I have to be a business to earn referral fees?
No, we work with individuals on a contractor basis and with other businesses.
Are Referrers Paid Per Client or Per Individual Job?
The referrers are paid per individual job.
- If a client books multiple jobs (e.g., multiple cross-docks), the referrer earns 10% of the Gross Profit on EVERY job.
How long does it take to receive payouts after a lead is submitted?
Payments are made at the beginning of every month for the referrals that PAID Warehousing Etc the PRIOR month. Referral payouts are paid based on when Warehousing Etc is paid for a completed job.
Warehousing Etc automatically sends payments at the beginning of every month; you do not need to send an invoice. We include a summary report of leads along with the monthly payout.
